Therapies offered

  • DBT is designed to help manage difficult emotions and improve relationships. It combines mindfulness practices with techniques for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. DBT can be especially helpful if you struggle with intense emotions, self-destructive behaviors, or feel overwhelmed in your daily life.

  • An approach that recognizes the impact of trauma on your life. It emphasizes safety, trust, and empowerment. I incorporate various techniques, including EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and other evidence-based trauma therapies, to help you process and reframe traumatic events while focusing on building resilience and fostering a sense of control and well-being.

  • Gender Affirming and LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy focuses on understanding and celebrating all identities, experiences, and challenges. Whether you are exploring your gender identity, facing discrimination, or seeking a therapist who understands the “gay experience,” I understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals and strive to empower you, celebrate your authenticity, and support your journey.

Therapy is not a “one size fits all” experience. We will discuss what therapy style to proceed with based on your individual goals and unique life experiences.

individual or

group therapy?

Individual therapy offers a personalized approach, focusing solely on your unique experiences and needs, allowing for deep exploration and one-on-one support.

Group therapy provides a supportive community where you can share and connect with others facing similar challenges.

Both options have their own benefits, and the choice depends on your comfort level and personal goals for therapy.

You can do both, if interested!
